There is supposed to be a new program in the market involving the 2008 stimulus and FHA. Rumor has it that banks will be able to do a “bridge loan” and let you access the first time home buyer’s credit at closing as a down payment, rather than waiting to get said credit at 2009 tax time. No word on how that will actually work yet, but if it does we are scheduled to close at the end of June.
